Boris,
Thanks for the information. I tried at one point to get the specifics of
when they see it phone home, but I couldn't get any details. I'll pass
along what you have said and see if we can get them to test it again. Does
it perhaps connect during the install?

We are very certain XSD does not do that. In fact, we even disable the
network support code in Xerces-C++ when building pre-compiled binaries
of the XSD compiler to make sure there is no network access of any kind,
even if the schemas being compiles have remote references.
Could you ask your IT security group to share the information on how
to reproduce what they have observed?
