Have you considered using XSD/e which is targeted specifically at
mobile and embedded systems and is known to work with QNX?

While there is no native QNX binary for the XSD/e compiler, you can
use it in the cross-compilation setup with either Linux or Windows
development platforms. There is also a number of configuration files
for various versions of QNX. See the etc/qnx/ directory in the XSD/e
distribution.
