Yes, remote locations are not supported. For now, you will need to
modify the schema file to use a local path instead of a URI. In the
next version of XSD (3.1.0, due in a couple of days) you will be
able to re-map remote schemas to local ones without modifying the
schemas (--location-map and --location-regex compiler options).
