[odb-users] "threads-sqlite" test case takes an extraordinary long time to execute

Hi Boris,
I was running the "threads-sqlite-vc12" testcase  (Windows x64/VS 2013)
and it takes a very long time to complete ( it does finally finish). On the
order of 45 minutes on a fast-ish machine.

Profiling it with Intel Amplifier shows that over 90% of the wall-clock
time is spent in threads waiting on synchronization objects. <10% of the
time is spent actually doing anything.
