'Hope I made things progress... though it wasn't my first goal ;-)
A pre-release is welcome, avoid me to fork from linux sources on my project to build on windows.

My current build is "odb-2.3.0-i686-windows" (Win32/XP)

Ok, I've fixed this. I am not planning to make a bug-fix release yet for this issue since it is fairly obscure. You can continue using one of the workarounds I mentioned or I can build you a pre-release binary.
