Do you have a Linux version of a5? I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 to generate and compile.

Also, will the xsdbin output be the same as 4.0.0 on the same architecture?

Can you try the 4.1.0.a5 pre-release? I think you are running into a bug
that has been fixed:
